Foraging for Wild Mushrooms Saturday 4th October 2014
Learn all about wild mushrooms in the beautiful woods of Kylebrack.
During this one day workshop, qualified experts will show you where mushrooms grow, why they grow there and how to distinguish the edible from the inedible.
The day will begin at 11 am with refreshments and an introductory talk on fungi in The Three Towers Eco House, followed by a forage in the surrounding woods.
After our wild mushroom hunt we will come back to The Three Towers for an organic lunch followed by identification of specimens and a cook-up of fungi we have found.
Booking is essential and must be made before 20th September 2014.
Rain gear and hiking boots or wellingtons are a must!
