As the day's lengthen discover nature's spring heroes. From Ramson's to Dandelions, from pignuts to Morels come forage  the hedgerows and woods. Taste and learn of the medicinal use of these plant healers, hear of their folklore, share a feast of wild and organic food in a warm country kitchen.

Wildfoodmary invites you into her home and garden to step into the wild with her. Visitors get to explore and taste all the best wild foods of the season.

Mary unlocks forgotten knowledge of foods available in the wild and their associated nutritional, medicinal and mythical stories.

A visit to Wild Food Mary not only opens the door to edible wild plants but also to a holistic view of gardening, foraging and nature.

I am Wild Food Mary, expert forager, chef, organic food enthusiast and author. I also produce a select range of fine natural products and have many recipes to share and recommend. With a lifetime of experience I lead a highly informative, yet friendly and relaxed workshop with lots of great craic! You may have seen me on tv on RTÉ in Dermot’s Secret Garden and Lords and Ladles. I pop up in the newspaper from time to time too, and have been recognised by Fáilte Ireland as a Quality Unique Food experience in Ireland’s Ancient East. My Wild Damson Liqueur was awarded 2 Gold Stars by Great Taste of London in 2014.
