Day 1: Biological thermophilic compost. Ingredients, assembly & turning
Day 2: Recap on soil health. Fulvic/humic acids, extracts & applications
Registration 9.30am.
Course starts 10am sharp
Course Cost: €350
Day 1
Biological thermophilic compost.
Participants will build a pile as part of this course.
1. Importance of starting materials.
2. Know what is, High Nitrogen, true green and brown. Ratios needed to support the plants you want to grow.
3. How to construct mix and monitor a pile including oxygen and moisture levels.
4. How to correctly turn a pile to ensure all areas go through the hot middle.
5. Troubleshooting
Day 2
1. Recap on soil health.
2. Getting clear on what you want to achieve.
3. Biological Humic / fulvic acid extraction, application, and use.
4. How to make and apply compost extracts.
5. Microscopy analysis of compost and extracts.
Course is delivered in classroom, physical building of a pile, and field applications
Bring a packed lunch. Wear suitable clothing as we will be working in all weather. Course materials will be emailed upon receipt of full payment.
